Cyprus Health Tourism Council President Assist. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Savaşan visited tourist patients in our country due to the new year.
According to the statement made by the Health Tourism Council; Council President Ahmet Savaşan and members of the board of directors visited the health tourists in our country to receive health services, celebrated the New Year and gave various gifts.
Protecting our health is our most important responsibility towards our loved ones...
In his speech during the visit, Ahmet Savaşan emphasized that the most precious treasure of human beings is a healthy life and pointed out that protecting health is one of our most important responsibilities not only to ourselves but also to our loved ones, our country and humanity.
It is a great weakness that we do not have the right to choose hospitals and physicians...
Stating that the fact that high standard health services are provided in university and private hospitals and clinics in Northern Cyprus without waiting time and under favorable conditions creates the opportunity for patients from many parts of the world to prefer our country, Savaşan pointed out that despite entering 2019, the fact that the people of the country still cannot obtain the right to choose hospitals and physicians creates a great weakness.
New public hospitals are needed...
Emphasizing that legal arrangements that will enable the people of the country to access the high standard health services provided to health tourists with their social insurances should be implemented, Ahmet Savaşan stated that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will both gain a more modern structure and strengthen the image of health tourism by creating a reliable system in our country where health-protective, health-promoting, disease-preventive, correct and effective treatment services can be accessed, building new state hospitals and creating the right to choose hospitals and physicians outside the state hospitals.
We will work to contribute to all areas of life.
Stating that the aim of the Health Tourism Council is to contribute to health tourists in particular and all people in need in general to lead a healthy and happy life with their families and loved ones, Ahmet Savaşan said: “As we leave behind another year with its joys, happiness, sadness, pain and memories, we are entering a new year by strengthening our belief in a happy and beautiful tomorrow. Each new year is a time when the future plans of societies and nations, as well as individuals, are reviewed once again and expectations of a peaceful, happy and prosperous society are raised. In this new year, we will continue to work and contribute to the achievement of development goals in all areas of life, from democracy to health, from health to education, from economy to science. With these feelings and thoughts, as we enter a new year, I hope that the pain and disasters will be left behind like the year that has passed, and I wish that the new year will bring health, happiness, success and peace.
